I decided to pull off my carb today and drain it of fuel for winter storage. So once i drained all the fuel out, i put it in the trunk of my car to take it home. Next thing i know i open the trunk and the carb has ICE all over it. Im guessing the carb got so cold that when it came in contact with some of the water in my trunk it froze on instantly. I just hope it didnt cause any damage......
Yeah i think it should be fine........its UNBELIVABLE how cold it is though. 0 degrees for the past three days. It warmed up to 20 today so i decided to go take off the carb. If i have to go through 1 more month of this i'll just go out of my mind!!! :banghead:
Re: HMMM well thats INTRESTING!!!! (1970 Stingray)
Personally, I'd rebuild the carb once you get ready to put it back on. Small insurance price to pay. Rebuild kits aint that much. Just my .02, but I don't like to take too many chances. :flag
