Default My first big vette purchase!

I've been looking for a year and a half for a good 4 speed driver built before 74, and im still corvetteless, but I picked up at heck of a deal today! I drove down to hilton head island in SC and picked up most everything to convert an automadic to a 4 speed. The stuff i got was a rebuilt muncie M20, a brand new clutch, 2 hurst shifters (one old ragged one and one brand new) new exaust pipes, new radiator, drive shaft, brand spankin new console plate and shift boot, the Z bar, and all the linkage. The only thing I need is the actual clutch petal. I bought all this stuff for 1000 bucks!! I saw the ad earlyer this week and was like oh yeah, thats mine. So I drove down there today and got it. Now all i need is a car to go around the trans

That's easy--put it on ebay and call it "original OEM"! :D

Well i just figured that if i got a car that had a 4 speed already then I would sell the trans, radiortor, shifter, etc and I dont think I would lose money. Everything is brand new or rebuilt. The shifter is bolted.

Interesting way of doing it, but you never can have enough parts!
