Got is touch with the restoration shop this week. The 72 is all painted new Bryar Blue, white stripes are on, chrome Hooker headers and Hooker sidepipes are installed, and an inclosed trailer is lined up and waiting to make the 180 mile journey to deliver this car to me from Western Pa. One big problem is the dirt road ( trail is more like it ) keeps drifting shut making it impossible to get a rig back to the shop to load the Vette.
Since I have been without this car for 4 months now, wife and I are taking a mental health day of work next Friday and going up to see the car and get some pictures. I can't stand it any longer! I should be able to post pics next Sunday evening of the restoration and final pics of the paintwork. I still have work to do after I get her back. The shark is going to get a complete new interior and Crager mags with raised white letter tires. Not quite sure about which type of mags, wife wants chromies, I am leaning toward the grey spoke ones. After I post pics, perhaps you guys can weigh in and give me your opinions on which wheel you think will look better?
I am really getting excited now. Gotta love those sharks!

Re: 72 paint job is complete but.................... (fastfun)
sounds very nice, looking fwd to seeing the pics. Mine was scheduled for paint this March but I have decided to wait for 2 years and do a complete body off, crate my #'s engine and drivetrain and drop in an LS1 with 6sp. I may even put in a/c at that time as well.
