Default Power door lock problem

My power door locks aren't working. I am guessing that it is maybe a fuse. In the manual it says the locks work off the clock fuse. Is that maybe also why the clock isn't working? Appreciate any help

Did you check the fuses with a meter or just visual,sometimes they can look ok when in fact there is a small gap.Was your clock working before you had trouble with the door locks?

I have only had the car for not even 5 days, and when I got it the clock wasn't working. I bought a fuse tester, and the fuse is fine. Everything else works, windows, courtesy lights and such. Haven't checked the lighter. I bought the car off of e-bay nad love it, but there is a few things that need to be fixed/replaced. The things that aren't working are the door locks, the buzzer, and for some reason, there is no air coming out of the vents or defroster, but the floor heat works? AAny suggestions on these?

That's odd. The locks are on the fuse with the horn, clock, and radio, but of course you'veprobly figured that out. The clock not working might be completely seperate from your lock problem though, b/c those clocks stop working a lot. My locks are also spastic lately, and that has something to do with my car not starting very well. Anyway, check your grounds, which im gonna do, that's been suggested to me by a lot of people.

It's hard to say why the fan is not working,could be the fan is faulty,or the switch,could be an earth or wire off.the fan should work in low speed regardless of the switch position.You can see the fan blade if you remove the leaf grill in the wiper well,if the vent door is open.Check that out first,also check the wires on the fan motor,as well as the earth.

The fan didn't have a fuse in it when I got the car, but I figured if I put in a fuse it would work. Same thing wtih the anti-theft system, there was no fuse, so I put one in. I 'll have to check out the switches and relays on the door locks I guess, unless someone else has anything different to add. :confused:
