I've been glassing in the scoop on my hood and I'm not sure what to do next !
Do I bondo directly on the fiberglass ------ or do I use the urethane/filler primer and then use the bondo over top of it ?????? Thanx for the help guys !!! Rick
Re: ------ Need fiberglass advice ------- (454Can-Am)
Use fiberglass to get it as close to the desired shape as possible, you want to use the least amount of filler, especially on a hood which sees a lot of action in closing/opening and a good deal of engine heat

Thanx for the help guys ! I know to use as little as possible (or thin) on the bondo ---- so I'll finish my shaping and then get a thin skim over the top just to smooth things out.
corvtt1969 : The car's never been to NJ --- just Corvette Carlisle last August !
76greg : I do have the cobra shields on the car ! I like the looks better without the shields, But my girlfriend is only 5 foot tall and was worried about burning herself -------- not to mention the second day I had it running, I stepped into it and left the skin from my leg charred to it --- OUCH !
