Default Oil Filler

I have an Edelbrock 2101 intake manifold, and proform black crinkle valve covers.

The problem I am having is when I need to add oil, the only way is through the breather grommet.

As there is oil baffles in the valve cover, this is a slow process. It can take 15 minutes to add a complete oil change.

Does anyone have a fix for this situation?

I am contemplating taking the right side cover off, and drilling another hole to add a grommet and a push in fill cap.

Can a filler be added anywhere to the manifold?

I am sure someone on this forum has a solution.

Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the forum!!!

I have the same problem with my valve covers too. It would be quicker to remove the valve cover and pour it in that way. Wonder if you can just cut those baffles out.

Or perhaps a hammer is the tool of choice.

The baffles are there to prevent oil from saturating your breather.... Better to do it the right way and install an oil cap.
