Hermit,
Yes we do already make carbon fiber shafts for stock replacement sizes but we do not have them w/aluminum ends for the 1480 series joints. Tom's is having the ends made and we will bond the shafts and Tom's will test it. You could get it in carbon fiber but it will have the steel ends and that will only give you looks. It will not be stronger. The carbon shafts w/aluminum ends will save a lot of weight and be stronger.
 UPS man paid a visit to my house today. WOW!!! The offset trailing arm assemblies look great! Thanks Dan! I will be shipping the cores out Saturday.
Finished installing my Van Steel trailing arm today. The install went very smooth. No problems getting any of the nuts or bolts off. Guess watching those shows on TV and reading posts about this kind of stuff helped. The replacement assembly went in perfectly. Now I have two precision Van Steel trailing arms and a Van Steel rebuilt differential. It don't get any better than that! :chevy
Dan, I got your phone message but I think we're missing a few things per the phone conversation we had. What I'm looking for is this: the complete double offset arms with the 30 spline axles. I'm still wanting to go with the drilled rotors so I would want to delete those. I could have them delivered to you for installation if you don't have a line on those. I will need the 1" shortened spring and new mounting bolts. Also we talked abou the heavy duty differential that could support 600 hp or so. A price for that would be good.
:hurray: :hurray:
got my t-arm in just now....
verry fine workmanship
thanks dan for update's on my order too!
i'll be doing more biz with dan that for sure!
Like to go with a set of the bare offset T/A's. I had emailed you before but my old email is out right now. Can you drop me a line @ kinetic_03@hotmail.com
