Default polyester or epoxy resins ??????????????

I have some repairs to make in my battery boxand floor area on my 69 Vette. What type resin should I use, polyester or epoxy.

While I'm here, what is the best approch to repairing the back side of the battery box. The hole is the size of a battery. and Bubba has been in this area before. I did remove his POS repair.

Thanks

Not sure about your epoxy resin debate
As for your repair, I'd glass in 1 or 2 pieces of aluminim for the back wall and or floor.

69s should have polyester glass in the floors, but could possible have Gennite type late. 69 was the first year of the gradual changeover to SMC type materials, beginning with the Gennite door panels sometime after midyear.
