I get my auto trans parts at my local GM parts counter when I rebuild one. I had to get quite a few little pieces for the 200 4R that I just rebuilt at my local dealer and they came through great.

I tried to get a new valve body for a TH400 from a few local GM dealerships. They looked at me like I was on crack. Parts were either discontinued or not in stock.
I ended up going to a Local Trans shop with a good reputation. I had my parts the next morning.
I have bought parts from bulkpart.com and am very satisfied with their quality and customer service.
