Those are the "english" classic style mirrors, found on old triumphs, MG's etc.
There normally chrome. Can find them at Moss motors etc.
I have the small ones on my TR4.
Yup, Proteam. My parents bought a 60 there about 12 years ago so I felt good about going back. Who is Mick?
Forum member sold a very similar car not too long ago. Apparently NOT the same car. He sold it on ebay and the buyer was a vette dealer, but I guess it was not proteam (CnV perhaps?) . Here is the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2446785808
First thing you need to do is get rid of those old Dunlops. The tread compounds between the inner and outer treads are of a different hardness. This causes uneven wear over time, which produces a tire that is very slippery-disastrously slippery when wet, as other have attested to on the forum.
Dunlop was bought by Goodyear and have since redesigned the tire. The old tires sidewall reads "Dunlop Radial GT Qualifier" on the side wall, whereas the new tire design reads only "Dunlop GT Qualifier".
The tread is the same pattern, but made up of different, better materials.
I will say though that I think the Dunlops and Goodyears run a bit narrower than the BF Goodrich's do for the same 255/60/R15 sizing.
