there are 2 one one the drivers side by the fuse box and a second one
located on the passanger side behind the dash pad.
easy to reach without pulling anything...........

I think there are two in most cars? Certainly Vettes I think. Maby somethiung to do with the fact that the turn signal one at least is "mechanical", working on a bimetal strip. Modern cars are "electrical" and maybe can handle all four signals going at once?
We have two in ours, and indeed our is up under the dash on the right side, accessible by taking out the glove box, but I wasn't sure if it was the same on an earlier car.
