casting numbers for 79 L82 heads?

76 cc open chamber smog heads, thin lightweigth castings. Probably the worst head of them all.

thanx...i knew they wenrt great,,,
i took them off a long time ago and installed a set of World Product heads...
MUCH better :)
a guy wants to buy them so i was wondering...
whataya think they are worth?

Well, if he's a sucker tell him GM still sells those under their GMPP service as the cast iron performance head (screw in studs, 2,02x1,94 valves) and maybe you can make some nice money out of them. Otherwise.. hmm maybe 100$ if in good shape ?

actually they are 202's with screw in studs...

My black book shows L-82 heads as #462624 for all.

Both L48 and L82 used the same castings and chamber size. Different valve sizes, though...
