Throttle Cable bracket for Demon carb?? Help
Have a 69 and have installed a Demon carb. Old throttle cabel bracket is for a Rochester carb I think. Has anyone else found a off the shelf solution to this?

Have you looked at the Lokar stuff. I had to install one of thier brackets and throttle cable to get mine to work.

I bought a chrome bracket summit sells. It bolted right under the carb and had an adjustable cable attachment.

I have this CSI bracket form Sumitt. It was kind of expensive but it works and looks good.

Thanks. that set up looks awesome. Have any idea what the part number was. I looked and did not see any for Demons specifically.

This is a CSI-630R (Red) bracket. I know it will work with 75 thru 81 Vette throttle cables with the square clip in holder. Check with Sumitt customer service for the earlier Vettes. Remember that the Demon carb is virtually the same in every way as the Holley 4150. If you use this bracket you will also need slightly longer carb mounting studs and get a good double return spring and stretch it so as not to put too much pressure on the carb throttle shaft.

The Demon has rounded corners whereas the Holleys seem to have squared off corners. I bought a couple of simple brackets (Mr Gasket) but they would rotate around the stud, so I drilled a small hole and used a roll pin to pin the bracket to the carb base, no problem, and cheap.

Just about anything made for a square bore holley can be made to work on a Demon. I have a 700r4 and used a Holley Pro-jection bracket. A little cut here , bend here and BAM ! you have a good working throttle cable bracket !
