Probably a junkyard. Though I think GM performace parts offers one that's not priced too bad.

Re: Cheap serpantine conversion (stickboy)
I bought one at a swap meet a week ago for $300. Had alternator, all 3 pumps, a/c compressor, and all the little brackets.

Other than appearance, what is the advantage of this swap?

Re: Cheap serpantine conversion (zzyzx)
Believe there is less powerloss and the belts do not throw as easy as a v-belt system. Plus I hope I can use an F-body supercharger with it. :)

Watch your water pump rotation. Alternator does not matter.

Re: Cheap serpantine conversion (Vette'78)
Use the setup from an 89 Corvette. It seems to be the best for the conversion. You might also source a set of GM dual fans from a 90-96 corvette. Make sure the shroud is good, then just replace the motors with new GM motors. I've seen after market fans come and go, and even sold two pairs at the January show in Old Town, Kissimmee, but the GM fans usually replace them when we can find them.
