The Black plate reference is to the color of the Lic. Plates used way back than in California,not many cars left with the original plates. Now I get to stand on the soap box !!! :rant: A,,, 400 cid ENGINE IS NOT A BIG BLOCK IT"S "A SMALL BLOCK".. Sorry,,,,I had to add that. :D :D

Hilarious! Make sure you check out the 76 Vette he screwed a buyer out of. That's why he's got the negative one feedback. Notice on his reason for backing out of selling the Vette - "it did not work". Hmmm, could that be the reason he doesn't have any ENGINE pictures on the Vette ad?? :lolg:

I hope it does work, I'm now going to be cr*pping my self now until it arrives in the UK.
I didn't know that they had done the dirty on someone, on the last day she emailed me to say that she had dropped the price to $4000, I mailed her to say I will buy and she said yes, as it hadn't reached the price she wanted, she would remove it from the auction and sell it to me.
A couple of days later, I was showing someone the auction and noticed that someone else had won the auction.
It turns out (so I am told) that she didn't cancel the auction in time.
I had agreed with her to deliver the car to my shippers, and then she turned round a week later to say that she doesn't drive on the Freeway
:confused: :rolleyes: , so it cost me an additional $150 to get the car picked up and taken to the docks.
I suppose I will just have to wait and see now, how honest she was with the car.
