Anyone know how to.....
take theupper windshield header stainless moulding off? (the thin silver piece between the windshield and larger thick moulding) I would like to polish it, and think I could do a better job with it off. :smash: Thanks

well i got mine off... just came out by prying very easily but when i put it back in it blew off on the highway, so you might not want to do that....

There are minor bumps on the bottom of the moulding that click into the clips that are attached to the frame. The clips are U-shaped with the U being very tight. I used a regular windshield clip tool to slightly spread the U and ease the moulding out. This can be very tedious so take your time and don't bend the moulding. Good Luck, Craig :cheers:

On my 68 there's some clips under the upper windshield reveal molding. The clips hold the windshield molding. Carefully pop the molding out of the clips
