Carbon fiber halfshafts

I think several of you purchased these but I cannot find anything further in search function. Did Van Steel manage to do a GP? Any feedback from you purchasers would be appreciated.

Talk to Gransport C3. He has them on his vette. A couple other guys have them on their cars too but I don't remember their names.

What would like to know? Product is of high quality, ordering was easy, all questions answered quickly, arrived within a few days of ordering, easy installation and they look great on the car. I can't answer any questions concern improved performance because I haven't driven the car since I installed them. It did cost me more money after I installed them, I had to buy sidepipes so I could show off the halfshafts!

Van Steel did a GP. Got mine installed last month. Off tomorrow for a wheel alignment. Looks alone are worth the $$$.

if i remember GrandSport told me the 3 shafts droped about 20lbs in Wt.
that is worth the $$$ plus the strengh & The Looks :cool: :cool: :thumbs:

20lbs?? I asked Van steel and I believe I was told 2-3/4 on each half shaft, thats 5.5 lbs, it`s doubtful you`ll lose another 15lbs with a carbon fiber driveshaft. I can see them on a car like mine (where there is just NOTHING left to do) but on a street car it`s :crazy: ...redvetracr
