I don't check out the Proteam website very often, but I just noticed they have about 7 or 8 non-corvettes on their 68-72 inventory page, including Camaros, Chevelles, even an Olds 442! I don't recall ever seeing anything but vettes on their website. I guess they are branching out. :) MJ
Re: OT? Vette dealer diversifying a bit... (MNJack)

Hi there MNJack ! :seeya
Looks like you've posted quite a bit in my absence from the forum. :yesnod:
Yeah, several dealers are "branching" out because of sales.
For some reason 1st Gen. Camaros out sell Corvettes of the same year about 4 to 1 !!! ....and the prices are ridiculous !
$23k for a Camaro (fake S/S) when I can buy a 1969 vert for under $20 ???
I mean hello ???
To make a Camaro = to Corvette you have to convert all brakes to discs add gauges (tach, etc.), mod the suspension +plus find one with all the goodies (4spd. Muncie, 12-bolt....etc.).
It just makes more sense to buy a Corvette but you cannot convince Bubba or Joe 6-pak of this !
