71 vs 78 Seat Frames

71 vs 78 Seat Frames
Are the seat frames from a 71 the same as those from a 78?
I have my old 78 seats that were replaced with the PC/79-82 style seats. I need to recover the seats in the 71 and was wondering if I can use the frames from the 78 and make them look correct appearance wise for the 71.
