The cut's in the frame, realy bother me. What would you do? My options are to have a Hobart Welder fix it, or scrap it? :mad

I cannot see the cuts in the frame from the pics. If they are just 1/8in cuts weld them up with an Arc or Mig welder. once you are past the diff mounts there is not much strain on the chassis.
What is a Hobart welder?

Send these pictures to the guys at Contemporary Corvettes in Bristol, Pennsylvania. They'll send you all the correct fiberglass to patch that hole the right way.

 Wow, that certainly is quite a project. You could probably get a rear clip and find all the panels you need to make the thing solid again. Even a mildly wrecked rear clip would probably work from what I can see.

What year vette. is this? Where is the build sheet found on the tank? side, top etc. Can you see it through the gas filler area if the rubber surround is removed. Good luck!!!

  Wow the last guy was a real butcher. I think I would do as suggested earlier in this tread get the correct fiber glass and mold it in. Good thing your smart enough to do all your own work I couldn't imagine paying to do all this stuff.

Re: How would you fix this?? (78 Vette)
Yikes!
I think you're gonna need more than a tail light panel!
I've got two gutted bodies on hand, a '69 and a '70. Let me know if I can send you any pictures to help in the reconstruction.
Edited to add ... I'm not even sure what angle picture #4 was taken from ... what is that showing??

Hmm ... put learning to count on my list of things to do.
I meant picture 5.
I'll shoot some tomorrow evening for you. I have a 70 body in the shop that's in nice primer should be great for some tank area shots.
