Default Which ball stud to use?

I'm using a Centerforce DF clutch with a stock 621 bellhousing. Part numbers would be helpful.

Get an adj one, believe I got lakewoods, and do the mock up. Once you are set then use JB weld to secure it in place meaning use JB weld on the stud threads that go into the lakewood base, do not use it on the base threads that go into the bellhousing, I used heavy duty locktite on those so I could get the base out if i need too. I did not use the nut.

Ok wise guy. :D I had the parts sitting, thought I ordered the right one's.

Funny you should mention the Lakewood adjustable. I have a Lakewood and a few other stock GM's and the Lakewood is the only fine thread that'll screw into the bellhousing. The one GM (68-82) is coarse thread! The other GM I have just won't screw in.I was hoping

How do I determine the proper height of the stud? I'm using a stock bellhousing??

:)

There should be an orange piece of paper with the clutch that outlines how to measure the correct distances. I am not sure if the big block is diff than the small but I think I still have my instructions somewhere if you need them. Of course they do not seem to have the instructions online but here is their website:

Ok, thanks. I found the orange sheet. :bb Instructions are for use with Lakewood's blocksaver plate which I'm not using. It reads 4.75 from block side of the blocksaver plate. So I guess I could add 0.125 for the thickness of the plate?

Took me hours to get the clutch aligned properly and the tranny attached. :mad Of course it took some of that time to locate the parts.

I think LARS had the spec for using CenterForce clutches with stock BH's. If the search isn't working I'll dig through my paper work, I think I copied it at the time.

Thanks Gary. I tried the search but found nothing about a stock bellhousing or ball stud. If you find anything, please email me @stingray@dashfast.com

Ok I'm sure I have it in my 2 notebooks of forum notes! I'll post it here tomorrow so others could use the info too. I have a Center Force clutch setup NIB that I haven't used yet. I know just about eveyone who used one had a problem with the pedal travel which really sucks when you have everything back in the car!
