Clock installation question
I just got a new clock for my 76 Corvette becuse the old one hadn't worked since I bougt the car. I got a replacement quartz clock from Ecklers. I have the old one out and took the new one out to the car to test it. I hooked the orange wire to the back where the power connector is (the old one did not have this, but there was an extra wire/connector back there). When connected, it still did not do anything.
Am I hooking something up wrong, or do I need to wind it....
???

The back of the clock only has the one connector on the back. I am not real good with wiring, so I am not sure how it needs to be grounded. Sorry for my ignorance when it comes to wiring.

The positive wire goes to the connector and the negative wire is grounded to the case. The grounding occurs naturally when the clock is installed on the bezel but if you're bench testing it you have to clip the negative wire to the case to ground it.
