Interior is a 75. VIN is a 75. Obviously, the back half of the body has been replaced. Has flags on front fenders vice Stingray script so the have been replaced as well. The hood does look to a 75 though. Engine is missing all the smog stuff as well.
Obviously, this car would be a major project. :smash:
Edit: Missed the 80-82 rear bumper and 80-82 style front bumper for 75-79's on the first look. Weird car.
I e-mailed the seller.....I'll post it if he responds to me. I'm really curious to see what he has to say. The funnier things is people are bidding on it.....

Re: Another eBay brainiac (Eddie 70)
It is not an uncommon thing to see these combinations.
There was a car on E-bay last year that I really like and at one time considered building one for myself. It was an '80 with '70 front and rear chrome bumper on it. It looked like a '70 with the big back window, I really liked it! Wackedvette is yours going to have the front chrome bumper? jim
People do this alot when the cars are reletively new. Just think in 1985 you could make your 75 look alot newer by changing out the body panels.
I did it myself to an 84 in 97. I had what looked exactly like a 95/96 going down the road at the rock bottom price of an 84.
