Was the L-82 ever offered in any other GM vehicle?

Yes. It was the performance small block and as such was available in the Camaro. Assume the Chevelle but not sure there or for other models.

I suspected it was avaliable in the F-body, but wasn't sure. I wonder if it had the same intake / valve covers / etc...

Not sure on the L-82, but I think the LT-1 engine was available in the 70-72 Camaro's.
