New passerby comment for the record books.
Started the Corvette up to let it warm up, talking to a cute girl on campus. The engine of course "roared" to life. (I use the term roar loosely. My car does not roar when I've been listening to Chuck Harmon's L-88 on the dyno. However, when I'm standing in the Santa Clara University parking structure, flirting with the owner of an early 90's integra, the Corvette definitely roars.)
Anyyyyways, she asked me, "Oh, nice car, did you make it yourself?"

LOL...take her to the dyno and let her hear Chuck's engine. Then again....it no longer "runs like a clock", so she wouldn't ask about the "funny clicking sounds". :lol: :lol: :lol:
