Is it worth it????????
hey all, went and looked at a 72 today. one of the better ones i've looked at. what i'm looking for is opinions on what you might pay for a 72 ttop, i think ps,pb. paint is 20 footer, frame shows surface rust i didnt feel anything major poking at it. interior is well worn. needs exhaust,rear spring (looks flat),frame did have a repair under pass door, i didn't notice it he told me. he is asking 7k. what do you think? thanks john :)

If the body is straight and the frame isn't bent, 7K would normally be a bargain for a chrome bumper car. What was the reason for the frame repair? Describe "20 footer" . Is it a 4 speed or an auto? Is the motor original?
(That doesn't matter to me personally, but it may weigh in what you want the car for) Give us some more info. If everything seems to be there and the birdcage and frame aren't rusted through, you may have a diamond in the rough.

i knew i forgot something. hes not sure why the repair. its an auto. want it to be awesome driver. birdcage seemed ok. not orig motor. paint looks great from 20 when you get up to it has some chips dings.
