Is the law of car crafting that you MUST get screwed by at least one vendor on each project you do? I had a problem 4 years ago with a certain vendor in South Florida while working on the Vette. It took several months and alot of phone calls, emails and letters to alot of different agencies, but my bank finally got my $$ back.
Well, I'm working on my S15 Jimmy now and I ordered a transmission and converter on Jan 21, $1550 + $200 shipping. As of today, I have not received an invoice, a receipt nor a transmission and converter. They made excuses for the first 3 weeks, now they won't even respond to emails. The first hint was when they told me they would not charge my card until they shipped and when I checked my account online 4 days later it showed they charged the card the same day of the order. When I called them they said "sorry, accounting should not have charged your card, but we'll throw in a free Hayden cooler to make up for it". Well, it's been downhill ever since. If they would have just sent an invoice I would have given some slack, but they won't even provide that. Why can't businesses just provide the product you payed for without trying to defraud? Is money and greed really that important?
:mad
Dispute the charge. Now. As soon as you finish reading this message, call the credit card company and dispute it. I don't care who's wrong or who's right, just do it! :yesnod:
