Door panel repair
Does anyone know of a product that you can repair your door panles.
I have a 76 and has brown int. Originaly i was going to buy new ones but after looking at them and the cost of new ones I wondered if there was such a product i just have afew cracks and a couple of places the panel is missing
Any ideas?

There are tons of plastic repair kits out there, but matching the color is the problem. Also have seen "door skins" that recover your panels with a new skin.

I just recovered my panels with vinyl. I outlined how to do this at

under "Tech/Performance". The post is on the second page and titled "re-covering door panels" (about mid way down the page).
This was my first attempt at working with vinyl, the panels came out pretty good but with some wrinkles just in front of the door handle area. I haven't finished the article yet because I am waiting to buy carpet to finish out the lower trim on the panels. I also added real Walnut inserts to the upper trim plate and armrest.
