emergency brake
after reading the frustration of the guy doing his brakes i have a question about the emergency brakes - have talked to more than a few owners who don't run e brakes on there car - has anyone changed the e-brakes and if you have can you tell me the way you did it and the difuculty you ran in to thanks

here is a good site for ebakes. It is a PITA but is not that complex. One of the most difficult items is to remove the toggle which operate the shoes. I sawed mine off with a dremel. Other tips are to split the caliper halves to get the rotor off. The caliper mounting bolts can be difficult and this works around them and leaves the hoses in place.

I just rebuilt my e-brake a couple of weeks ago. I replaced all the hardware with stainless. The hardest part about the job was the price of the kit :lol: . I had no problems doing it and it only took a couple of hours to do them both.
