Replacing A/C compressor with a chrome one.....thoughts, ocmments....
I plan to replace my A/C compressor with a chrome one.....are they as dependable as a "stock" or rebuilt compressor? Any experience either way.... :confused:

I have the A6 style long chrome compressor. Works fine and looks good!

:cool: :thumbs: I don't know about the dependability of them but I would do it except for the money, So I just put the chrome ring and polished pulley cover on mine, I have the R4 though. :cheers:

I think you can only get a chrome cover for the R4, and not the A6. And personally, the chrome compressor would be waaaaaay down my list of things to do. But that's just me.
