I need to get a fuel filter for my new fuel line from the mech pump to the carb. What is the difference between the screen type and the sintered bronze?
hold on.... I see from your sig you have a 68. (so do I) What kind of fuel line did you get? Is your fuel return line intact? If it is all stock you have to get a gf432 fuel filter. For in the carb you should also have a little paper filter. Before I go into great detail give us a better idea of what you have, ie stock replacement fuel line or aftermarket. MJ

I am looking at fuel filters for AN lines. The two Earl's -6AN fittings are http://store.summitracing.com/partde...t=EAR%2D230106 for the sintered bronze, and http://store.summitracing.com/partde...t=EAR%2D230206 for the screen type. Both of these filters have an aluminum housing and both of the filtering media are cleanable. I was wondering what the pros and cons to each were.
