I need to get a fuel filter for my new fuel line from the mech pump to the carb. What is the difference between the screen type and the sintered bronze?

I am a little confused. Is the "sintered bronze" the description used for the little in-the-carb filter that goes in the fuel inlet? There are 2 types, one paper, and one metal. If you' re really talking about inline fuel filters I dont know what a "screen type" filter is. You can use a generic fuel filter that splices into the fuel line with rubber hose connections or you can build a fuel line like I did that accepts a screw-on type filter. I would stay away from the glass inline fuel filters. MJ
hold on.... I see from your sig you have a 68. (so do I) What kind of fuel line did you get? Is your fuel return line intact? If it is all stock you have to get a gf432 fuel filter. For in the carb you should also have a little paper filter. Before I go into great detail give us a better idea of what you have, ie stock replacement fuel line or aftermarket. MJ
