WHAT HEADS, CAM, AND INTAKE??????
I am building a 383 stroker and I have picked out the heads cam and intake but im not sure if they are good choices. I dont want aluminum heads and my compression ratio I want around 10:1. Here is what i have chosen Performer EPS intake, World Products Motown 220 Cylinder Heads or World Products Sportsman II Heads and I dont have a clue on a camshaft. I know i want to make around 450 HP 450 TRQ and have 1500-6000 powerband. I want it to be very streetable with pump gas. What do you guys think? are there any websites I can visit to learn more about camshafts and heads- compatiblity? thank you :confused:

Don't know if your 10:1 with iron heads will work on pump gas w/o octane booster.

If that is your desired HP you do not need 220 heads. A set of 190 heads will easily provide that HP. I plan someday to put a 383 bottom end in my car with the current heads and cam and expect around 500 HP. I have seen it done very easily. My 350 is around 430 HP with the current setup.
