Default OK another interior question

I got my insulation down but after setting my new carpet down I have too many wrinkles, should I use contact cement behind the carpet , would a heat gun or hair dryer help take some wrinkles out, I have trimmed all that I want to. :banghead:

I layed mine out flat and let it sit for a day or two in the warm weather. Smoothed out very nicely. I did not use any glue when I placed mine down.

Contact cement is too permanent. 3-M spray adhesive works great..as many guys use it. (Me too) Heat gun may remove some of the small wrinkles, but nothing big. Sounds like a "do over" to me!!

No Contact cement!!!!
Give time and heat a chance and everything will smooth out. Don't be too hasty to fix it quick.

I agree as well. My interior layed out fine with the insulation underneath. It sure helped with the heat. Noise level is about the same. I have stock side pipes. Loud is an understatement, especially at 60 mph with the windows up.
