PAINT QUESTION
How many gallons of paint, primer, and whatever else needed to paint a corvette is needed. Sikkens and PPG are my first paint choices. Can use a guesstimate as to how much the paint will cost. I am looking at a dark green metallic pearl as the color of choice.

I recently painted my 69 with all PPG paint. Used almost 2 gallons of primer, including epoxy, primer, and sealer..(depends on how many times you primer too)..then i used about a 1.5 gallons of base red, with about 1 gallon of clear. I also lay on paint thick too. Total cost was about $880 through a paint rep.

I went through 1 1/2 gallons of gel coat, 2 gallons of primer, and have 2 gallons of single stage urethane to cover it.
