Gen V heads on Mark IV block
Does anybody have practical experience of mounting Gan V heads on Mark IV blocks. If so, I would appreciate any comments.
I know what some books says but a lot of people says difference so I need an opinion from someone that has actually done it.

My understanding is that you can use a Gen V head on a Gen IV block, but not the other way around because of the water jackets near the lifter valley.
I have not installed Gen V Heads on a Gen IV, but I have compared the 2 types of heads side by side. The only difference is the water jackets on the intake side are larger and closer to the edge of the head. Supposedly, the Gen V heads run cooler than the Gen IV because of the larger water jackets.
