Failing catalytic converter = emissions getting worse.
plugged cat = car won't run.
If you still have the stock cat, you can empty it, then wait till it's time for emissions to get a new one.

My car is really spewing out some unclean exhaust. Literally spraying both wet and other cumbusted carbon.
Would this cause my idle to be really rough and to sometimes completely cut off?
