454/350 hp. Too bad it's not in my Vette, cause gas at the marina is $2.25/gal.
Here's some befo' pics. I've invited Cali8675309 to come and detail the engine compartment for me, but he says he's too busy taunting the Mustang kids who hang at the Lake Murray 7-11.
Is there any reason why one cannot bolt a marine block into an auto? I know the reverse is a no-no...hmm. If I can find an inexpensive 502 for the boat, maybe this motor will make it into the vette...just not sure if those exhaust manifolds will fit.
No reason at all that you can't bolt a marine motor into a car. The GM marine motors used to be the performance crate motors of choice back before the factrory got into making performance crate packages. You would probably want to change the cam though, as boat cams are usually made to have a very broad torque curve at the sacrifice of peak HP.
