Hello Corvette Forum members:
I had an e-mail this morning on my computer and I had to post it on the forum. This is from a guy trying to locate his dads old car. I thought this was super nice he wanted to find it and buy it back for him. He is offering a reward for the car. I don't know how much. If we all send this out to our friends maybe we can do a good deed and locate the car for him. Read on and thank you for reading this and let's find this car !
Dear Texas Corvette Clubs,
I am a corvette enthusiast and I am looking for my fathers old corvette. My dad purchased a 1968 corvette convertabe from Polk Chev Gnz, LA in Dec 1967. His VIN # is 194678S407314. I would love to find his old car and purchase/restore or reunite him with his old car. Any help would be beneficial.
I am offering a reward to whomever can help me locate my fathers vette.
I currently live in Baton Rouge, LA and if you should have any questions or comments please e-mail me.
Opinion please. Do you think I should post this on the other forums as well ? I just started with the C-3.
Let me know and thank for any help.
Joyce

Post everywhere you can. Try newspapers and you may even try the local news tv station, they might be interested in helping you too!!! You never know till you try!
Thanks Suzanne. I have a few media contacts. Great idea ! Is there such a thing as a vin # locator ? I know in the information age anything is possible. I'm not sure how to go about this, locating the vin #.

That's great. I hope he can find it. I wish I could find my father's 65 coupe, but I don't have the VIN. I've done DMV search but no luck without the VIN.
