I know I have seen incondescent heavy duty shop light bulbs..God I hope this is true. Will try to find em or will keep and eye out...best way is not to DROP IT..the droplight I mean! :lolg:
You need to buy a rough service bulb. They are coated with a thin layer of rubber on the outside of the bulb. They hold up very well. Mine is way over 2 years old now. You can get them at Lowe's.
I've had much better luck with the screw in bulb type halogen replacement bulbs. They seem to take a lot more abuse that standard bulbs ever dreamed off. The off side to the halogen is that they do generate more heat than a standard bulb.
