Started wetsanding the flares-pics-painted
well i started wetsanding this morning,the last coat of clear i wasnt feeling to good(not breathing too good),so i put it on dry and got out of the garage,that glasurit clear is nasty stuff.So i have alot of sanding to do,but i got both quarters,ttops sanded .Overall i think it matchs pretty good,itll be fine for those weekend cruises,its no way a show car and never will be,but its a great cruising car.This winter im stripping it down anyway for a complete repaint with some custom touchs.
First two pictures show how close the color is,compared to the door and the quarter,third picture is after i wetsanded the quarter ,im really happy with the body work.For a mechanic i think it came out pretty good.:D Now i need to order the sidepipes and rims and tires.

thanks guys,im pulling off the exhaust filler panel now and modify that for the filler panel,so i can order my sidepipes.

thanks norval coming from you :thumbs: yes i do my own work,mike ,im really happy with them,who knows maybe ill install the fronts next winter.
,well i got the ttops sanded, roof panel,sail panel, both quarters,and 50% of the deck lid sanded,my arms are too sore to get the tailight panel and the other half of deck lid done tonight.and i only worked 2 hours this morning and 2 hours late this afternoon.I figured i got enough done this weekend.
