Make sure you check your replacement core for leaks before you install it. I didn't and had to do it twice. :cuss :mad
An easy way to check the new heater core for leaks before installation
is to use a bicycle tube. Cut the tube in half and slip each end over
the necks of the heater core and secure with hose clamps. Fill the
tube with air and immerse the heater core in water and watch for
bubbles.
Recommend doing this as have seen new heater cores leak.
