My car has like new (2k miles) 295/50/15 BFG T/A's on 10" rear rallys. After driving the other day, I notice a bulge the size of an egg on the sidewall. I call the tire dealer and they tell me that it is "road hazard" and is not covered by warranty. :mad

That is a defective tire caused by 'delamination' in the rubber ply construction of the sidewall. IF the tire dealer won't exchange it, I'd try to contact BFG directly. It's very similar to the Firestone issues a few years ago. :mad :cuss
Unless you were running these tires severly underinflated, I would not consider a bulge in the sidewall a "road hazard" problem. I would take it in to them and have them explain to your face how they could consider this anything but a warranty item. If you are not happy with their answer, you could always let them know that you plan to see what BFG themselves has to say about it.
Ever see the old Discount tire TV ad where the voice over says "if for any reason you are not satisfied with our tires, feel free to return them.' then an old lady tosses a tire through their front window.
Had that happen once and I really didn't remember hitting anything but once the tire dealer pulled the tire off you could clearly see a pinch or scuff on the inside of the tire where I had hit something and busted the sidewall......We call 'um whiskey dents down here...... :D
