What do I need to add rear speakers and keep the original look to my vette. I have collector's plates on my vette and everything has to stay original. Is there a bracket that I mount these to or what?
I kept my '78 with an all orignal look, but better speakers. Due to a much larger magnet I had to do some cutting and reinforcing of the rear cover brackets, but the finished results were worth it. Sounds much better too! Additionally I added a CD changer hidden in the storage bin above the jack. I velcro mounted it and can remove it for orgainality if needed. The CD cahnger is wired via the FM, so I can keep the stock radio in place. the (6) CD changer from Pioneer will fit in the compartment mounted on an angle which allows you to just put in the CD carrier.

it's still run from the puny little 1978 amp inside the radio though, right?
