Brake work [Rant]
I have done all this hard work, replaced the entire brake system, I mean the entire brake system. The last thing I replaced was the power booster, I painted it before I installed it. I got lazy & took it to the shop to get the system rebled because I was having some issues with that. They were able to find that I had 2 air leaks in the system, 1 was my fault, I didn't tighten down a fitting good enough, the other is the master cylinder itself that I just replaced as brand new...no big deal, I would not have been able to locate these leaks without the shops help, what pizzes me off is that they let brake fluid drop all over my fresh paint job on the power booster & didn't wipe it off before it affected the paint ! :mad :mad :mad :mad :mad
So, what am I gonna have to do to get the surface looking smooth again ? Standard sandinng buffing & repainting ? I have never repainted over a brake fluid ruined surface before.
