Vegas was just Depressing. After he did so well at Rockingham, i thought he was set. Though once he got out there at vegas with a messed up car, there wasn't much he could do. Props for finishing and not just going home.
btw, i'm sure he posts anonymously so he can act like a regular guy. i mean, would you argue with Dale, Jr.?
Also, he probobly doesn't want people constantly asking if DEI is hiring drivers. (But if they are, Dale, send me an IM. I can be there for the next race.) ;)
 If NASCAR would get their head out of their butt and relize that these cookie cutter tracks like Las Vegas, California, Chicago, etc,etc SUCK! Racing would be much better and you would see the racing put back in the drivers hands like it was in the 70's and 80's when tracks like North Wilkesboro were still on the schedule. Sorry but that was not racing Sunday. That was just a bunch of cars driving around in circles. Decrease the mile and half tracks and increase the short tracks on the schedule and you will see the real talented driver's like Dale Jr. shine. But then again like everything else it has boiled down to the all mighty $ and as long as they can put 170 thousand butts in the seats I'm sure they don't care if the actual racing stinks. Sorry for the rant but I miss the old days of racing when you had Dale Sr., Geoff Bodine, DW, Rusty etc banging fenders and throwing punches.
a C3 I just purchased from Mooresville NC. Just PM me.
Who did you buy a C3 from and just what does Dale Jr have to do with it????
Inquiring minds want to know....and 'cause I happen to live in Mooresville.

:iagree: but you can put 170,000 people in a short track look at Bristol
That is what I don't understand. Why want somebody build more Bristol like tracks. Much better racing and you can fill the seats.
eather do I Nascar has been over lookin the racing at tracks since big E's death and has been looking at all the money thay can get by going out west. which in return cost the owners a whole lot more money.

Re: Paging Dale Jr. (BlackRat)
My fall Bristol seats cost me $85 apeice this year. They have been going up $5 a year for the last 8 or 9 years. The first time I went to Bristol there were 55,000 seats and tickets were $50. Now there are 155,000 seats. How much money does Bruton Smith have to have. I am almost to the point of letting the seats go. I can stay home and watch the race for free and not have to deal with all the BS of driving four hours, crowds and drunks.
All that said, it still is a blast. When the cars start on the pace lap, talking is over. If you have never been to Bristol, that is the loudest place I have been. Even with ear plugs my ears ring for days after the race. :steering:

I was there for the night race in August of 99. It was awesome!
I understand he posts here under an anonymous name - for obvious reasons.
Have heard same from several source not known to each other.....
I have also seen it posted on here a couple of times that he posts here.
On a unrelated note... I like the "lipstick" commercial. Specifically the fact that he has a real vette that isn't perfect, notice the rear view mirror next time you see it.
I think that all the commercials he has done lately has done good for image for non nascar fans (like myself). At least when I watch now I have someone to root for.
