WHAT http://www.hotrod.com/upcomingevents/113_2004_hrpt/ This seven-day, seven-city tour once again brings the automotive enthusiast and the automotive aftermarket together to celebrate their combined passion of all things automotive. Last year, more than 200,000 participants and spectators enjoyed the nation's largest motorized traveling extravaganza, latest project vehicles from General Motors and a range of activities at each Tour stop including manufacturer displays, dyno challenge and product giveaways.
WHEN/WHERE
This annual trek of everything from classic hot rods to late-model performance vehicles will launch from Arlington, Texas on Saturday, June 5, 2004 and conclude in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Friday, June 11, 2004.
REGISTER
Pre-registration for the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour is $55 prior to May 28, 2004. Registration includes a vehicle decal, credentials for the driver and one passenger, plus all Tour stops and activities. http://www.click4secureprocessing.co...e/register.asp
Don't forget to deduct money from your entry fee if you meet the requirements for our Buddy & Club Discount. Rustle up at least five members to enter at the same time by e-mail, mail or phone, and you each save $5.00 off your total. Anyone from the club who pre-registers after the initial group, gets the discount when they mention the name of your club. BRING A FRIEND AND SAVE too! When you and a friend (who has never entered a Special Events show) pre-register together, you both can save $5.00 on your entries -- It's our way of saying thanks for the referral. Only one discount per order. EACH DISCOUNT IS GOOD FOR PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY!
If you are interested in the buddy discount let me know.

Re: 2004 Hot Rod Power Tour (Michael Tucker)
I'm going to try and make the first two legs, pending completion of the conversion. Also, out of town guys, feel free to stop by and have a beer. Maybe we can get some of the local C-3'ers together to meet.

I'm in for the whole way. I know I said it last year but I don't plan on breaking the engine this time around. Michael, which Vette are you taking?

I'm out for 2004. But I'm going to have my car back together in time for the '05 tour. Anybody need a passenger on this year's tour?

My wife and I have wanted to hit the tour since we saw it on speedvision a few years ago
When we heard it was ending in Green Bay
we knew it would never be closer to this area (we're 2 hrs north of GB)
we started making plans
if things go well count us in for the long haul
Hopefully my buddys 67 stang will be ready
if not he'll take an 04 mach1
should be a blast

We're planning on doing the first leg or maybe as far as St. Louis - will be in the El Camino though, since it has air (I'm a weeny - can't take the Texas summers without it). It ain't a Vette, but it's still a Chevy! :auto:

Re: 2004 Hot Rod Power Tour (Michael Tucker)
I would love to go again this year but events have conspired against me. I do plan on going in 2005 but not in the Vette. Probably in my current project which I need to finish this Summer. Would I get to drive with the Vettes as an honorary owner??
