I did a stupid thing the other day, you know when you don't have the right tool and too stupid to wait the next day to bring one from work. I'm rebuilding a 327 to upgrade a little and I cracked the outer ring tring to pull it..... my question is, I have another one, almost identical, in all respects, same diameter, holes etc. the only diference is the thickness of the outer ring, its about 1,1/2 inchs, the original is about 3/4inchs thick. It came off of an old 305. Now somebody told me there might be a weight issue, but I just don't see logic. Also, there is no center bolt tu hold it in the crank, no threads nothing, I find that odd, but again thats just me....... :confused: :conehead
oupss, just measured the diameter of the 305 damper,, its a bit larger, guess I wont be using that one for sure....lollll
