Engine update....
Well, the engine is coming along.
The heads are on, and the short is buttoned up, all that remains is rockers and pushrods and the intake can then be installed. Fuel pump and a multitude of other exterior items to come.
Also, got my grubby factory L-82 covers done up in a show-quality chrome finish, the area between the fins will be shot in a deep gloss black. The picture below doesnt even come close to doing the covers any justice at all.
Anyway, in a few weeks the old engine will come out, I will then disassemble the engine bay - detail everything, paint - redo all vacuum lines and then install the new engine....
Stay tuned...

I'm on a parallel effort. My engine's ready to come out for replacement. I'll be doing the engine bay while I'm at it also. Got to get it done by summer!
