Need VIN Traced
I was wondering if any one could Trace a Vin # for me? I tried car fax but since the car is a 1969 the Vin is to old and nothing comes up. The VIN is 194379S7B1507
I am more or less trying to find out the History of the car. IM not sure if can even be done on a car this old but I thought I would try anyway.

I know of no public sources for VIN traces. Your best bet is to start with the state where you know the car was last registered. Contact the states DMV and do a title search, depending on how long the state keeps their records, you may discover where the car was registered previously...maybe another state? If your lucky, the car never left the state.
Have you talked to the previous owner to get any history out of them or did you buy from a dealer?
Another option is to place an ad in the NCRS driveline under the "Info Wanted" section, but you need to be an NCRS member to post an ad.
There are a few other websites where people post Info Wanted, like the CAC.
Or make friends with an FBI agent...I'm sure their database could give you all the stuff you would ever wanna know.

The car is my Cousins it was left to him. I am just trying to help him out, I know it has been sitting in a Barn for since 1982 it’s in some bad shape Engine wise. But I noticed that the front bumper looks like it might have been in an accident and fixed but it doesn’t seem to line up. So I wasn’t sure if I could find that out. Thanks for your help.
