A lot of members of the forum said they liked the round fixed headlights.. while they _may_ be a step up from the square inset headlights, I am not yet convinced. :(
I don't care much for body mods, but this is one of those rare cases where I think this kit looks good, but only if used for racing where appropriate. Don't know if I'd like to see this on a street Vette, but if I was a serious racer I'd go with this. Basically just looks like the headlamps are up.
I don't like rad modified C1,2,3's. Personal pref. With the advent of the halogen bulb, it allowed the designers to design front ends that weren't slaved to round head lights. Revolutionary. Probabally the most significant innovation in 30 years. Leave the new lights to the the new cars, Harley's cars and '49 Linc's & Merc's. They look better when hot-rodded. :conehead
i like that too. much better than those fugly square light buckets sold by ecklers. hell, if i could find some of those for sale now, i'd buy them. looks very "le mans-ish". meanwhile, back at the bat cave, i'm still working on making buckets for my small halogen rectangles ala '93 camaro.
clutchdust...your wish is my command. I have a brand new set of endurance headlight covers and buckets $500+UPS (Guldstrand is up to $580).

Are those Gulstrand pictured on that Vette? They appear to be somewhat "homemade". I'd be interested in your set-up. Please send pics.
The square headlight kit doesn't look quite right on our rounded/curvy C3's. Certain modern modifications look great on our cars (e.g. LED taillights, updated seats, etc.). Round headlights have a vintage look (as that's all that was available in the "old days").
I think they look really cool if you're building a road racer (or street replica) but you need to go the whole way with the L88 flares and hood, 10 inch torque thrusts and sewer pipe side exhaust. Make mine black with a new chevy performance parts Ramjet ZL1 and 6 spd!
